Why did we START WITH alternative credit scoring?

Millions of Africans remain excluded from financial systems, limiting their ability to grow wealth, withstand economic shocks, and build better futures. The premises are clear:

Traditional banking services remain out of reach for many

Climate-related risks heighten financial vulnerability

Expanding mobile penetration creates new opportunities

The informal economy is vast and largely untapped

Women and other marginalised groups face systematic financial barriers

Our ACS solution is the first step in a broader mission to redefine access to financial services for underserved communities
